Oakwatch is a reclusive gnome village hidden in the trees of the southern Feywood, along the shores of Kelpie Lake. The town was founded and built around the heart tree of the dryad, Casuarina, who considers the gnomes her wards. As a result, the village is finely attuned to the fey magic within the forest, and its citizens are devoted to the preservation and protection of the forest and its inhabitants. Oakwatch is far-removed from national politics, only receiving occasional travelers, often those lost in the forest. Though the village does not actively involve itself in the affairs of outsiders, it is willing to lend aid to those it sees as kindred spirits, such as the elves of Ardyn.
