A violent man with a cunning mind, Julian used to live in a small village with his brother Lucian until a prank got out of hand and Julian killed an old logger. His lack of remorse angered the townsfolk, but their fury turned to blood lust when a raven-haired, silver-tongued elf “lumen” proclaimed that the brothers were witches. The brothers were separated and chased out of town, Lucian stealing a horse and taking to the road while Julian fled to the Feywood.

Julian’s time in the enchanted forest has since turned him feral and mad; he now revels in the hunt and consumption of his fellow humanoids (especially elves, since they remind him of how he came to embrace this lifestyle). He particularly delighted by the euphoric rush he gets when draining life force with his vampiric touch. He was a menace to all who wandered the Feywood, from Ardyn and Oakwatch citizens to Syrion Harlow’s mercenaries. His propensity for using his familiar to strike fear in the hearts of his victims earned him the title “the Grey Fox.” He hunted throughout the southern forest until captured and imprisoned by Eoleo, Niamh, Raleria, and Rognar.
